Vielight

Photobiomodulation (PBM) is the use of specific wavelengths of red or near-infrared light to interact with cells at the mitochondrial level. When absorbed by cytochrome coxidase, a key enzyme in the cell's energy-production pathway, this light is thought to support increased cellular energy output (ATP) and influence local blood flow, all without generating heat or requiring invasive procedures.

Vielight applies this technology specifically to the brain, using 810 nm near-infrared light delivered through two complementary pathways: transcranial, where LEDs positioned around the head deliver light through the skull to targeted cortical regions, and intranasal, where a small probe delivers light through the nasal cavity via the cribriform plate, a pathway positioned closer to deeper brain structures that transcranial light alone cannot reach as effectively.

Many Vielight devices pulse this light at specific frequencies, for example, 40 Hz, aligning with the brain's own gamma-frequency rhythms, a parameter that has been a specific focus of published research into the technology's effects on neural activity.

NeuroPro 2

Whether you need to target specific neural networks or stimulate the entire brain, the Neuro Pro 2 offers unmatched power and programmability. With 12 programmable Vie-LED near infrared modules, you have complete control over your cognitive optimization.

vielight mip

The MIP (Multimodal Intranasal Photobiomodulation) is the most versatile intranasal photobiomodulation device today. This is the best way to deliver near-infrared energy through the nose to the underside of the brain and nasal vasculature.
